In the mid-1990s a group of investors acquired United’s oil palm operations, which resulted in a shift in the administration and business vision; and a consolidation in the production of oil palm was conceived in Quepos, Parrita, Coto and some areas in the province of Limón.
Currently, Palma Tica has almost 20 mil hectares of sustainable production of more than 10 varieties of palm oil in these areas, generating around two thousand direct jobs. It has RSPO and Pacto Global international certifications.

In addition, said plant processes 46 metric tons per hour of palm oil fresh fruit bunch. It also prepares coquito palm flour and calcium soaps for livestock. International certifications: RSPO, Kosher and FSSC 22000.

An extraction of 110 tons pf oil per hour is conducted on a daily basis, which is exported from the port of Golfito in Costa Rica to different countries in the world. The company’s certifications are: RSPO, FSSC22000, Pacto Global y Kosher.

Its products are intended for domestic and industrial use in Costa Rica. At the present time it generates over 600 direct jobs. INOLASA has been recognized by the American Soy Association as one of the most efficient and modern soybean plants in all Latin America and was thus awarded these certifications: HACCP, Essential Costa Rica, Kosher and Carbon Neutral from INTECO.

Agrosa: its plant is located in the city of León, Nicaragua, where palm oil of the highest quality is processed.
Harinisa: it processes wheat to prepare flour and export bran.
Indegrasa: dedicated to the manufacturing of different types of laundry soaps for different market segments, including for export.
